Adult Choir

     

      Our Mission.....................

      To give all honor, glory and praise to God 
      by moving hearts closer to our Lord Jesus 
      Christ through prayerful song. 

 
 
The adult choir, under the direction of Sharon Pero with resident organ accompanist Lori Raabe, provides a repertoire of sacred music, in Latin and the vernacular, that includes Gregorian chant, the Sacred Classics of Mozart, Schubert, etc., and modern choral works that are consistent with the Roman tradition of sacred music. 

The choir is accompanied by the organ and other classical instruments.

We have been privileged to sing in many churches throughout Italy, in the presence of the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI at the papal audience, and at the Solemn High Mass at the Basilica of St. Peter in Rome.

The adult choir typically sings:

  • 9:00 am Mass on Sundays from September through the Feast of Corpus Christi except for the 2nd Sunday of the month (Kids Praise Too! sings the 9:00 am Mass on that Sunday and the adult choir sings either the 5:00 pm Mass on Saturday or the 11:00 am Mass on Sunday)
     
  • the following Christmas Masses:
     -   9:00 pm Mass on Christmas Eve
     -   9:00 am Mass on Christmas Day
     - 11:00 am Mass on Christmas Day
  • during Holy Week:
     -  Palm Sunday 9:00 am joined by Kids Praise Too!
     -  Tenebrae  - Wednesday 8:00 pm 
     -  Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord's Supper 8:00 pm 
     -  Good Friday Celebration of Our Lord’s Passion 2:00 pm
     -  Easter Vigil Mass 8:00 pm 
     -  Easter Sunday Masses:
             9:00 am joined by Kids Praise Too!
           11:00 am
  • Divine Mercy Sunday 11:00 am
