Altar & Rosary Society

Welcome!

 

If you are a registered parishioner of Holy Family and a woman, you are automatically a member of the Altar & Rosary Society of Holy Family!

 

The Altar & Rosary Society contributes much to our Church as a service organization that supports the needs and projects of our parish as directed by Father Dufner. We also strive to nurture the women of Holy Family spiritually through speakers and retreats. Our Blessed Mother is loved and honored in our Society. The prayer of the Rosary is an integral part of our organization.

 

There are two dinner meetings each year that all the women of the parish are invited to attend. We have a speaker that gives an interesting talk - usually connected with our Catholic faith. We also conduct Altar & Rosary Society business. This is an excellent opportunity to socialize and meet some of the new faces at Holy Family.

 

Sugar Plum Days is a fun and successful way to raise money for the many items and projects needed in connection with our sanctuary and sacristy. Sugar Plum Days usually takes place the first weekend of December.

 

We coordinate volunteers who “work for Jesus” by cleaning, ironing, dusting, washing, and whatever else is needed for the upkeep and care of our Church in the areas of the sanctuary and sacristy.

 

We acknowledge and remember our deceased members by praying the Rosary and having an honor guard present at the funeral. We also remember her by having a Mass offered.

 

After the 8am Mass, ladies of the parish are welcome to gather in Moorman Hall for donuts and social time.

 

We sponsor and distribute to parishioners the Advent and Lent Magnificat companion book meditations each year.

 

We provide a network for the women of Holy Family with the hope of fostering friendships and community spirit!
